I somehow didn’t take any photos this week, so I’m just reusing one from Tuesday’s photoshoot for today’s cover photo. My dad’s been in town this weekend, so we’ve been busy catching up, trying to squeeze in some fun despite the crappy weekend weather and going to my favorite Denver restaurant, Wash Park Grille. I also on a whim decided to start a 28-day wall Pilates challenge this week (yes, I saw a bunch of ads on Instagram which inspired me to find a free YouTube version), and I think it’s going well so far! Feeling Peachy

Even though I don’t consider myself a very trendy person, I do generally like to do at least one blog post in the first half of the year that features the Pantone Color of the Year (or at least, features an item in my closet that’s the closest to the actual pantone color). My Viva Magenta post is probably my favorite of the tradition, but I also styled monochrome grey with a fun yellow backdrop in 2021 and have even worn this exact cardigan for the Living Coral shade in 2019. This year’s “it” color is called Peach Fuzz, and it just so happens that this sweater is a near-perfect match. Continue reading “Feeling Peachy”

Weekly Recap #16, 2024

Feeling so happy after a weekend spent with one of my best friends! We haven’t seen each other since June of last year, and even though the weather was crappy, that didn’t stop us from having a blast. I made her a bingo card for the weekend to celebrate her birthday—with some squares being activities I planned for us and other squares being chance-based, such as running into another person celebrating a birthday—and it was SO fun crossing items off throughout the weekend.
